Banana – calories, nutrition and recipes
Banana is an indispensable part of everyday life and comes from South East Asia. Soldiers of Alexander of Macedonia are among the first that used bananas, we wonder did they eat it before, during or after the battle?

Let’s take middle size banana for example that is weighted around 120 grams.

It has an excellent ratio of potassium and sodium, contains 430mg of potassium and 1.2mg of sodium in a quantity of 120 grams, but we should be aware of the sugar content. It contains 14.4 grams of sugar on 24.5 grams of carbs which is a fair amount.
Banana diet is very popular, but it doesn’t have any scientific base and we do not recommend this kind of nutrition where we are going to load ourselves with sugar. Weight loss is a very simple process where we have to take care of the energy balance and consume less energy than we spent with a few more things to take care of, but eating bananas all day is not a solution.

Banana pancake recipe
Banana pancakes are very easy to prepare. Mix the oatmeal, egg, and banana and add water as needed to get a thick mixture. Fry them in a pan on couple drops of coconut oil.
