Gary Vaynerchuk – Crush It

As the first review of the books I’ve red, I chose the book because of which this project was created. A book that taught me how to brand my desire for education over social media and I can say that it definitely gave me direction.
Basic information about book
he book was released in 2009 when Gary founded VaynerMedia, and the experiences he recounted in the book were based on his work with the wines that made him famous.
The book has 176 pages and you can find it in bookstores, but it’s my recommendation to save money and paper, so here is the download link for book in PDF.
Three lessons you are going to learn
1. In order to profit from your passion, you have to turn yourself into a brand.
As it was at the time of writing a book, it is still today. You need to make a brand of yourself, just like you are a unique person, unique abilities, a unique expression – make use of it.
Reveal your talents to the world.
Launch your online TV channel, your audio podcast, your reviews, your story through photos, and make it available all over the world for free. That’s right, free.
Gary is talking about the experiences he has gained in his wine episodes where he has recorded over 1,000 episodes.
2. Choose a medium that fits your personality
Today we have two major platforms, Facebook and Instagram along with Snapchat. Instagram is currently the leader, and at the time of writing the book it was Facebook, but do not limit yourself, there are also websites where you can create content and share it on social media.
Pick a plaform for the start.
Once you’ve chosen the platform, start talking about your story, start giving the value. Express yourself through video, audio, photography, use the most diverse shapes, but in keeping with the context of the platform.
He explains how to publish content in the context of platform.
3. Be authentic while creating content
Do not pretend to be what you are not – be up to what you are when the camera goes off. Gary tells her how it should be, even if a few people won’t like your personality, it’s important that you always do what you do otherwise, because if you’re going to be someone else, it’s going to be noticeable, especially for a longer period of time.
Be how you are when the camera goes off.
He speaks how you need to spend a lot of free time, effort, swallow all the downs and go on, be persistent and continue to create content.
Conclusion
When someone asks me for a book recommendation, I always recommend this book. It’s a great guide, the beginning. Although written for now over eight years, all that is written in it is worth it.
If you want to run something on your own and are active on social media, but you do not create any content but just consume it, it’s time for you to start.
This is a book for you.
