Why we dont appreciate free advice?

We all love seeing the word “free”, literally we will always want to get something out of the box for free, and here we have our next question: how much we value free stuff?
Often people ask me for advice, especially about starting a project on social media, various things about increasing the reach of their posts on Facebook or Instagram, having specific issues. There are also question about specific nutrition and training stuff.
I give free advice.
I will invest one or two minutes to answer the question, give advice, guidance or something else. Ofcourse I charge individual consulting or nutrition plans because it really takes much more time to invest, but I will always give you a brief and short advice for FREE.
How much we value free stuff?
What happens is that I track down those people to whom I gave advice, and most often I can do that for those who received my advice about social networks because you can easily see if someone applies the things you told them just by following their Facebook page or Instagram channel.
99% percent of them do nothing.
Did they wanted my advice or my attention?
The logical conclusion is that it makes no sense to give more free advice because people do not value something that they did not have to pay, but it just came to them, served without having to invest anything.
Of course, I will not start charging advices in which I invest couple a minutes of my time.
I still believe in those 1% of people who will listen to me and do as I have recommended them, because if you do not want to apply what I say, why do you even ask me for advice?
The mentality of free stuff
The fact is that a mentality is such that the higher the price of something, the higher the expectations of the content itself. If you go on cheap, it immediately brings the status of being bad, mediocre, or worthless. If it is free, it brings the status of being something totally worthless and useless, so it does not get enough attention.
Free means worthless.
Honestly, I dont like it. I agree that your time and work should be appreciated and if quality is needs to match the price, then one who recognizes the quality will invest money. And of course, the more advanced and skilled you are in your business, the more experienced and the better – the price needs to grow, but the opinion that free things are junk needs to be eliminated.
There are so many free tips, books and tricks available on the internet, no one gives them because they think they are less valuable and can give them all. They are there to help and they are worth a lot.
It’s time to start appreciating the free advice!
